Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are two of the most popular types of dry white wine.
Here’s a list of my favorite affordable and great-tasting dry white wines you can get at Bevmo for $20 or less.
This dry white wine comes from a winery in Monterey county, a cooler climate, which gives it a hint of acidity and a more medium than full body. This wine is part of Bevmo’s nickel sale, making it an even better deal.
Tasting notes: medium-body, flavors of oak, butter, and pineapple
This is a very popular white wine, and rightfully so for its price. I have friends who say this is the only dry white wine they will drink.
Tasting notes: dry and acidic with tree fruit, and citrus
This wine comes from a Sonoma winery best known for its sparkling wine. They do an good job with this Pinot Gris. And just FYI – Pinot gris and pinot grigio are the same grape/varietal.
Tasting notes: a crisp and refreshing wine with citrus and tree fruit
Cantina di Casteggio is the perfect example of an excellent Italian Pinot Grigio. I would recommend this wine to anyone who likes Santa Margharita. At under $20, this is a great value wine. It’s also part of Bevmo’s nickel sale, making it an even better deal.
Tasting notes: crisp and dry with notes of citrus, apples, and pear
Austrian wines are known for being incredibly delicious, and this Gruner is no exception. Domane Wachau is one of the most available and best value dry white wines in the US.
Tasting notes: dry and light white wine with green apple, citrus, and earthy notes
Many of the best value white wines come from New Zealand, and Giesen Sauv gives you exactly what you would expect. This is a popular wine you can get almost anywhere but is quite a bit cheaper at Bevmo.
Tasting notes: dry, crisp, and acidic with citrus, grapefruit, and tropical notes
There aren’t many Riesling or Gewurztraminer options under $20, but this wine is worth a try. It has lots of tropical notes that may help you discover a good German dry white wine varietal.
Tasting notes: bold tropical and citrus flavor with earthy notes
This wine is part of a large production, and the price should always be right around $10, making it an excellent value dry white wine.
Tasting notes: acidic, dry white wine with grapefruit and tropical notes
One of my favorites on this list, this dry white wine isn’t always available at Bevmo, so if you see it, definitely try it. This wine is also part of the nickel sale.
Tasting notes: acidic and dry with citrus, lemon, grapefruit
