This is a savory, full-bodied wine filled with dark fruit flavors and an oak and velvet finish. The first notes on the nose are the oak and vanilla followed by black plum.

On the palate, there are lots of dark plum flavors along with other dark fruits like blackberries and black cherries. There’s vanilla, oak, and hints of baking spices which gives it a good complexity.

Overall, this wine has medium subtle tannins which makes it very enjoyable to drink. Also a fantastic winery to visit in Napa. If you do, I’d recommend the Sustainable Wines & Vines Tour!
