This wine is 100% Negroamaro. And this vintage reminds me a little of a California Cabernet Sauvignon that is big, bold, fruit-forward and velvety smooth. 

It has an aroma of ripe blackberry, plum, black currant, oak, and spices.

On the palate, this full-bodied wine is fruit-forward, bold, and has a great structure. There are flavors of blackberry jam, plum, cocoa, chocolate, and pepper with hints of oak, leather, and earthy notes. It’s deliciously rich and has a velvety smooth finish.
