As a certified sommelier, I’ve put together my list of the 20 best wines to buy at Wegmans for all occasions!
At Under $10, this is a great red blend for those on a budget and one of the best wines at Wegmans!
So by combining the structure and depth of Cabernet Sauvignon with Syrah’s dark fruit and spice aromas, this blend makes for a well balanced medium to full-bodied wine that provides the palate with its rich dark fruits of blueberry, plum, and cherry along with earthy notes of tobacco, smoke, and pepper on the finish.
Enjoy with barbecued meats or Italian dishes that use tomatoes. So if you’re looking for an affordable red for everyday drinking, this is definitely one to buy!
This is a red blend that’s sure to please! It offers medium tannins and dark fruit notes, with a full body. On the nose you get cherries, plums, and hints of leather. And it’s soft and smooth on the palate while it delivers ripe blackberry, plum, tobacco and oak with an appealing depth of flavor and complexity. Finally I get a hint of a pepper spice finish.
And for its price, it’s a great value red that pairs well with red meat and is ready to drink now! So try pairing it with grilled steak or hearty stews.
If you’re looking for a great Argentine Malbec, this one is definitely worth trying. On the nose you get ripe red fruits like cherries, plums and raspberries, along with hints of vanilla and spice.
On the palate, this full-bodied Malbec is smooth and velvety with intense ripe plum, blackberry, vanilla and spice notes with an earthy undertone all blended together in perfect harmony. The finish is long and lingering with a hint of oak.

I really enjoy this one with grilled meats! And again its another good wine to go with tomato-based dishes. Definitely worth trying and in my opinion the best wine at Wegmans for QPR (Quality Price Ratio)!
Another Sonoma red blend wine, this is a really enjoyable wine from the region. On the nose you get aromas of berries, violets and a hint of baking spices. And its palate is medium-bodied with ripe cherry and blackberry flavors, along with vanilla and a touch of earthy toasted oak on the finish.
From New Zealand, this wine has aromas of grapefruit, passion fruit and a hint of citrus. On the palate it is light to medium-bodied with flavors of ripe tropical fruits, peaches, along with some grassy notes.
And it has a refreshing acidity that makes it great for pairing with salads, grilled fish or seafood dishes. And for around ~$10 its a good value wine at Wegmans!
Another amazing white wine at Wegmans under $10, it has aromas of citrus, apples and pears. On the palate it has a round mouthfeel with flavors of tropical fruits, peaches, lemon zest, honey and a hint of minerality.
Overall, its a refreshing white wine perfect for the summertime parties! And I love pairing this one with fish or seafood dishes.
An Italian white blend made with Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc. This is an incredibly clean and fresh wine that has floral and fruit aromas of ripe green apples, pears and citrus. And on the palate it has a medium body with crisp acidity and flavors of tropical fruits, minerals, and stone to give it a length finish.
This French Pinot Blanc is a great value white. Because it has crisp, refreshing acidity with aromas of ripe green apples, pears, and citrus, along with some floral notes. And the palate is light-bodied with complex flavors of apricots, tart apples, sweet honey, earthy minerals and herbs. Plus there is a nice hint of spice throughout!
And it’s crisp acidity that makes it perfect for pairing with salads or seafood dishes such as mussels, clams, and oysters.
This Dutch dessert wine is made with real dark chocolate and red wine (French Cabernet Sauvignon). On the nose you get aromas of rich cocoa, vanilla and cream. And on the palate it has a pleasant sweet taste balanced by its medium smooth body and some gentle soft tannins.
Overall this is an interesting and unique blend that works well after dinner with lighter desserts or a cup of coffee. And its one of the most interesting wines at Wegmans!
This French dessert wine is made with Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle grapes. On the nose you get aromas of honey, apricot jam, passion fruit, mint, floral and a hint of citrus. And on the palate it has a medium-body with flavors of intense sweetness balanced by its acidity along with a creamy finish.
Overall this is a great dessert wine, and it pairs well with many desserts such as Apple Pie or Tiramisu. Plus its also not too expensive for a high-quality dessert wine at Wegmans!
If you’re ever venturing to the Finger Lakes wine region of New York, this is my favorite winery to visit! With amazing views of the lake and some truly remarkable white wines, it won’t disappoint.
This sweet Riesling has aromas of ripe peaches, apples and honey. On the palate it is slightly sweet with a medium body, crisp acidity and flavors of honey, apricots, candied oranges and melon.
Overall this is an amazing wine for any occasion. Plus its great for pairing with desserts or spicy dishes!
At under $10 at Wegmans, this French Rose, made with 100% Cinsault is always a good choice for the hot summer days!
On the nose you get aromas of watermelon, strawberry and raspberry. And on the palate it has a medium body with flavors of wild strawberries, peaches and a hint of honey mixed in. Plus its balanced acidity gives it a nice lengthy finish.
Overall I like this wine because its incredibly refreshing and perfect for the summertime BBQs!
This beautiful bottle of Rose is made with 100% Grenache grapes in California. And it has lovely aromas of red fruits, strawberries and rose petal. On the palate it has a light to medium body with flavors of ripe raspberries, cherries, and citrus. Finally its refreshing qualities give it a nice crisp finish!
