This wine has a very flavorful and attractive aroma that features some tropical fruits. And I can smell some ripe apples, peaches, and pears along with butter, oak, and caramel.

On the palate, I get a rich mouthfeel and a well-balanced acidity. I can definitely taste the sweet vanilla, pineapple, apple, and pear flavors coming together to give me a hint of baked pie or crème brulée. There are also some notes of lemon which bring out the acidity and brightness of the wine. And the finish is a velvety smooth buttery mouthfeel with a hint of oak.

The 2019 Bogle Phantom Chardonnay is full-bodied with rich fruit flavors and a creaminess that gives off a pleasant mouthfeel and a delightful finish. And I think it’s the best wine ever to come out of Bogle!
