WineO Mark Review

Bonanza is made by the Wagner family, who are also known for their other successful labels such as Caymus, Conundrum, and Mer Soleil. The family has a rich history in winemaking that dates back to the 1970s and they’re known for producing wines that are high in quality and consistent in style. Bonanza is one of their more affordable offerings, aiming to deliver a great QPR (quality price ratio) California Cabernet Sauvignon.

This wine has a medium ruby color with an aroma of dark fruits, chocolate, toasted oak, and soft leather.

On the palate, it’s juicy, rich, and medium to full-bodied, yet remains smooth, with a balanced structure. The fruit flavors (blueberry, blackberry, plum) persist, confirming the aromas on the nose, accented by touches of vanilla, tobacco, dark chocolate and earthy undertones give it depth.
