WineO Mark Review

Along with Cheval (above), one of the best Malbec wines I have ever tried. And of course it comes from the Catena family of wine.

This wine has an intense dark purple color on the glass with hints of bluish-black tones. It has an aroma of black plum, blackberry, black cherry, chocolate, and vanilla with notes of oak, licorice, and earthy notes.

It’s a full-bodied wine with  complex and many layers of flavors. There are flavors of blackberries, plums, black cherries, vanilla, and leather. There are also hints of oak, black pepper, and minerality creating a well-balanced wine that has fine tannins, and a long finish.
