The bouquet of this wine has complex aromas of blackberry, plum, and raspberry. As well as some earthy tones, toasted oak, and cocoa. 

On the palate there are rich and textured flavors showing layers of black cherry, plums, chocolate, oak, and some barrel spice at the finish. And it has medium tannins. 

This is a lovely, medium-full bodied Merlot from Washington that showcases the Columbia Valley as not just a Cabernet wine region.
