This wine is highly aromatic of ripe plums, blackberries, vanilla, and a hint of oak.
It has a fruit-forward flavor with cherry, plum, and cranberry. It’s then followed by vanilla, some tobacco, pepper, and oak in the finish. It’s a heavy mouthfeel with structured tannins and a long finish.
It’s one of my favorite wineries in Napa, producing yet another fantastic wine! A Merlot for Cab lovers.
