WineO Mark Review

Zenato again delivers the high quality we have come to expect from Italy, with their Ripassa Valpolicella Superiore 2017.

This wine has a dark ruby color on the glass. It has a focused aroma fill with dark plums, crushed blackberries, dried flowers, and oak. It also has some hints of earth.

On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied and has intense fruit flavors with a luscious mouthfeel. You can taste the cherries, plums, black currants, chocolate, and oak with notes of dried flowers and other spices. It’s consistent on the mouth, has firm tannins, and has a medium, elegant finish.

Its well balanced acidity that harmonizes nicely against the alcohol content in this tasty treat!
